Food for Thought

Has anyone ever stopped to think or let’s say, anyone other than myself ever actually thought about the way the earth spins on its axis?

OK let’s use this as an example.

The earth is constantly spinning. Clockwise?
Counter clockwise?
As it spins, if we are driving against the way the earth is spinning on its axis,
Does it take more time to get to our destination?
Does it cause us to use more gas?
Does it make the gravitational pull stronger?

If we drive with the current ratio of spinning along with the earth as it is turning,
Do we get to our destination faster?
Do we use less miles?
Do we use less gas?
Does it make the  gravitational pull less?

Just some food for thought.

What are your thoughts on this?

I believe that yes, this indeed should be something to think about.
It goes along with my process of seeing the beauty of this world, in the tiniest things people take for granted on a daily basis.

  1. I’m not sure the axis is a real thing. To me it seems like the Earth wobbling is the cause of climate change. And we’re just tiny ants crawling on the surface. There’s nothing we can do to make a difference to it. Humans think they can change the Earth? I think it’s more likely the Earth will kill us all and we can’t fix it. I’m not a scientist though.
